The Coventry community is in mourning after a devastating hit-and-run incident claimed the life of 12-year-old Josh on Radford Road. The collision occurred shortly after 4.30pm last night (Friday), near the local Aldi store.
Josh’s brother has issued an emotional plea on social media for witnesses to come forward, particularly those with dash cam footage, to assist in locating the dark-coloured BMW responsible for the incident. The vehicle was reportedly travelling at high speeds of around 80 mph at the time of the collision.

Despite the prompt response and efforts of ambulance service personnel, Josh was pronounced dead at the scene. The grief-stricken family remembers Josh as a cherished uncle to his nephew Theo and a beloved brother. They vow to seek justice for his untimely passing.
Authorities have since located and seized the vehicle involved but are urgently seeking information about the occupants at the time of the incident. Sergeant Rich Evans from the serious collision investigation unit urges the driver and passengers to come forward.
