Appeal for Witnesses Following Suspected Firearms Discharge in Lambeth

In the early hours of Thursday, detectives have issued an urgent call for witnesses to come forward after a suspected firearms discharge rattled the High Trees Estate in Tulse Hill, SW2.

At precisely 12.18am, authorities were alerted to the incident. Despite a swift response from officers, there have fortunately been no reports of injuries.

The focus of the investigation has turned to a black VW ID.5 seen in the vicinity at the time of the incident. Detectives are keen to interview anyone who might have seen the vehicle or noticed any unusual activity.

Appeal For Witnesses Following Suspected Firearms Discharge In Lambeth

Detective Inspector Martin Thomas, spearheading the inquiry, stressed the gravity with which they regard such reports: “All reports of this kind are taken incredibly seriously and are investigated thoroughly.”

DI Thomas urges those in the area at the time to come forward with any details: “I am asking anyone who was in the area and heard or saw shots fired to contact us immediately.” He also encourages residents to review any doorbell or dash cam footage that could provide crucial evidence.
