Man Found Guilty of Murdering David Lopez-Fernandez in London Stabbing

Jairo Sepulveda-Garcia, 37, was found guilty on Wednesday, 18 December, of murdering 32-year-old David Lopez-Fernandez. David was discovered with fatal stab wounds, and despite paramedics rushing to the scene, he was pronounced dead.

Swift Police Action After Brutal Attack

The London Ambulance Service attended the scene but could not save David. Police launched an immediate investigation, leading to Sepulveda-Garcia’s arrest on 26 February. He faced charges just two days later at Thames Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody awaiting trial.

Sentencing to Follow This Friday

After the guilty verdict at Southwark Crown Court, Sepulveda-Garcia is set to be sentenced on Friday, 20 December. The court’s decision will bring closure to a tragic and violent case that has shocked the local community.
