Man Hospitalised After Assault on Walworth Road, Southwark
A man has been arrested following a violent assault on Walworth Road in Southwark early this morning.
At 7:24am, officers from the Metropolitan Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene after reports of a serious assault on the busy South London road.
One Man Injured
A 40-year-old man was found with injuries at the scene. He was taken to hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, police confirmed.
Witness Appeal
The Metropolitan Police is urging anyone who witnessed the assault or has relevant information or footage to come forward.
