A hit-and-run accident unfolded at 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th, at the busy junction of Queen’s Road East and Tattershall Drive in Beeston.

Dark Audi A4 Driver Flees Scene After Collision

A dark-coloured Audi A4 allegedly swerved sharply, cutting directly in front of a motorcyclist. The rider, a man in his twenties, smashed into the car. The Audi driver then failed to stop and sped off.

Injured Rider Hospitalised, Police Hunt Driver

The motorcyclist suffered a hand injury so severe it might require surgery. “Fortunately, the victim was not seriously hurt but was clearly shaken,” said PC Steven Allcock, who’s leading the investigation.

“Though we have footage from the rider’s helmet camera, we’ve not identified the driver yet. We’re appealing to anyone with dash cam footage of the incident to get in touch.”

Police urge the Audi driver to come forward immediately. Witnesses and anyone with info should call 101 quoting reference 23*28701.
