Brothel Bosses Busted in Chatham Raid
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have nailed a man and woman suspected of running a brothel in Chatham. Cops swooped on a property in Dock Road at 11.30am on Monday, 20 August.
Couple Arrested and Charged
Hongman Wu, 39, and Yafen Zheng, 41, both from Barrier Road, Chatham, were arrested on suspicion of brothel management offences. By Tuesday, 21 August, they faced charges of controlling prostitution for gain.
Next Stop: Medway Magistrates Court
The accused were remanded to appear at Medway Magistrates Court the same day, 21 August. The investigation continues as police crack down on illicit activities in the area.
