Three Enfield Residents Charged with Modern Slavery and Money Laundering
Three individuals from Durants Road, Enfield, have been hit with serious charges related to modern slavery and money laundering.
Details of the Accused
- Martin Slovjak, 41: Charged with holding a person in slavery or servitude, arranging or facilitating travel for exploitation, and money laundering.
- Jiri Cernohous, 44: Faces the same charges – slavery, exploitation-related travel, and money laundering.
- Monika Daducova, 39: Also charged with slavery, facilitating travel for exploitation, and money laundering.
All three have been remanded in custody and are due back at Southwark Crown Court on 21 November.
Additional Arrest and Victim Support
Meanwhile, a man in his 40s has been arrested in the Czech Republic under a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) and remains in custody there.
Six victims linked to the case have been referred to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) for specialised support and protection.
