Major Drug Bust in New Milton Shakes Up Local Supply Chain
Hampshire cops staged a dawn raid today (1 October), smashing a suspected Class A drug operation in New Milton. Two pre-planned warrants hit properties simultaneously, netting a haul of cash and drugs.
Early Morning Raids Target Doe Copse Estate
At 6am, neighbourhood and response officers struck hard across the district. They searched homes on Fawn Gardens and Antler Drive within the Doe Copse Estate. From one property, they seized significant quantities of Class A drugs and piles of cash. Another address yielded money linked to suspected drug supply.
Two Men Arrested, Police Crack Down on Dealers
A 24-year-old and a 23-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. They remain in custody as police continue their investigations.
Sergeant Kat Smith of Hampshire Constabulary said:
“Drug dealing of any kind will not be tolerated. Anyone involved can expect robust action. These warrants only happen thanks to valuable information from the community. We’re committed to holding offenders to account and keeping our streets safe.”
Community Policing Steps Up After Raids
Local neighbourhood teams and PCSOs are now patrolling the area, conducting house-to-house enquiries and reassuring residents worried about drug crime.
