Six suspects have been snapped up in Winchester during a major crackdown on drug dealers. The intense five-day operation, part of Hampshire Constabulary’s ongoing Fortress campaign, kicked off on Monday, April 4.

Over the course of the sting, officers searched 14 individuals across Winchester, leading to five arrests on the spot. Suspicious behaviour near Winchester library on the first day caught police attention.

Teen Caught in Supply of Class A Drugs

A 15-year-old boy from London was hauled in, suspected of involvement in supplying Class A drugs. Also arrested was an 18-year-old man, signalling a firm clampdown on drug activity in the city.
