Tragedy Strikes Glencleland Road

Kevan Doyle, 43, died following a shocking incident on Glencleland Road on Friday night, 28 October. The alarm was raised around 8.50pm. Police launched a full murder inquiry after a post-mortem confirmed his death was suspicious.

Suspect Due in Court

A 46-year-old man is set to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday, 31 October, linked to the case. Police Scotland’s Major Investigations Team is leading the probe.

Detective Chief Inspector John Morrison said: “Our thoughts are with Kevan’s family and friends, who are receiving support from specialist officers. We believe this to be an isolated incident with no threat to the wider community.”
