Tragic Hit-and-Run in Portsmouth Claims Life of 70-Year-Old Pedestrian
Police rushed to Goldsmith Avenue, Portsmouth, at 10.12am on Sunday, January 9, after a collision between a pedestrian and a blue Hyundai i10 near the pedestrian crossing at Fratton Way junction.
The pedestrian, a local man in his 70s, was rushed to hospital but sadly died from his injuries.
Family Informed as Police Launch Investigation
Officers have informed the man’s next of kin, who are now receiving support from specialist teams.
