Drug Dealer Caught Red-Handed in Northumberland Road Sting
On 24 September 2020, Kent Police’s County Line and Gang Team nabbed Xhenson Duka in a dramatic daylight bust. Officers spotted the 24-year-old sitting in a Ford Mondeo on Northumberland Road and kept an eye on him.
False Name, Hidden Drugs & Cash Stash
After Duka was seen again 45 minutes later on Milton Street, officers approached the car. He gave a fake name, raising suspicion. A search of the vehicle uncovered 15 bags of cannabis cleverly hidden in a metal flask and 11 wraps of cocaine tucked inside a cigarette packet. Over £800 in cash and a pocket knife were also seized.
Lengthy Jail Term for Young Dealer
Duka, from Shakespeare Drive, Harrow, was arrested and the drugs were valued between £1,550 and £2,600. He faced charges including possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, plus carrying a bladed article in public.
The 24-year-old later admitted guilt at Maidstone Crown Court and was slammed with a hefty prison sentence of three years and four months on 23 October.
Police Warn: Drug Dealers Beware!
“Our officers patrol in uniform and plain clothes and are always alert for suspicious activity that suggests drug dealing is taking place,” said Detective Inspector Martin Williams of the County Line and Gang Team.
“Anybody seeking to establish themselves as a dealer in this area should be left in no doubt that we will identify who they are and swiftly bring them to justice.”
