Tragic Hit-and-Run Claims Woman’s Life in Staffordshire

Staffordshire Police are hunting witnesses after a tragic hit-and-run on Yoxall Road (A515) in Kings Bromley left a woman in her 80s dead.

Fatal Collision on Yoxall Road

The crash happened last night between 7.30pm and 7.45pm BST at the junction with Church Lane. A white van slammed into the elderly pedestrian before speeding off towards Kings Bromley.

Emergency teams, including the West Midlands Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene at 7.45pm but sadly, the woman was pronounced dead shortly after.

Police Plea: Did You See the Van?

Officers are desperate to find the driver and are calling on anyone with dashcam, CCTV or smart doorbell footage to come forward. They want witnesses who saw the van before or after the collision.

The victim’s family are being supported by specially-trained officers during this heartbreaking time.
