Fourth Suspect Charged in Shocking London Gunpoint Robbery
A fourth person has been charged in connection with a terrifying gunpoint robbery in West London.
Teen Charged Over Taxi Driver Carjacking
Jaydon Campbell, 18, from Avonmore Road, W14, is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today. He faces charges of robbery and attempted robbery.
The charges stem from a heist at around 11.35pm on Sunday, 17 October, on Southern Row, W10. A taxi driver was threatened at gunpoint by four suspects, who then made off with his car. Thankfully, the driver was not injured during the ordeal.
Three Teenagers Already in Custody
Earlier, three teenagers – two aged 17 and another just 15 – were charged with robbery and attempted robbery on Sunday, 24 October. They appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court the following day.
Detectives from the Central West Command Unit are still investigating. More arrests could be on the horizon.
