Suspicious Vehicle Stop in Dorset Uncovers Burglary Ring
Police in Dorset have made a significant bust after stopping a suspicious vehicle in Shaftesbury on the evening of Monday, 2 January 2022. While the Force’s firearms unit was involved, officers were not armed during the stop on Matchams Lane.

During the stop, officers searched the two men inside the vehicle and uncovered a large sum of cash, a baseball bat, and what are believed to be cloned vehicle keys along with key-cloning equipment. This raised immediate suspicions of criminal activity.
