Man in his 20s Critical After Woolwich Shooting
A man remains in critical condition after being shot late Monday night in Woolwich.
Gunfire Rocks Granby House
Police and armed officers rushed to Granby House in Woolwich at around 10:35pm on June 10 following reports of gunfire. Despite their prompt response, no victim was found at the scene. It was later revealed that a man in his 20s had arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound.
Crime Scene Ongoing, No Arrests Yet
A crime scene was set up near Granby House as police launch a full investigation. So far, no arrests have been made. The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
“Police were called at approximately 22:35hrs on Monday, 10 June to reports of a firearm discharge in the vicinity of Granby House, SE18. Officers, including armed units, attended but no victim was located. Police were later informed a man in his 20s attended hospital with a gunshot injury and remains in critical condition. A crime scene is in place with enquiries ongoing. Anyone with information should call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 7941/10Jun,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.
