Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Early Morning Stabbing in Cliftonville
Kent Police rushed to Dalby Square in Cliftonville at the crack of dawn on Friday, 11 February 2022. Between 4am and 4.45am, an assault unfolded, leaving a victim with stab wounds.
The injured victim was swiftly taken to a London hospital for emergency treatment.
Five Arrested – One Charged
- Five people were arrested over the stabbing.
- 49-year-old Raymond Wallace of 1 Terrace, Margate, now faces attempted murder charges.
- Wallace is also charged with possessing an offensive weapon in public.
- Four others – two men aged 42 and 53, a 31-year-old woman, and a teenage boy – were released without charge.
Suspect Remanded Ahead of Court Date
Raymond Wallace remains in custody and is set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 21 March 2022.
