Tragic Death on A34 After Ambulance Collision

A 35-year-old man has died after being hit by an ambulance on Oxfordshire’s A34. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crash Details and Police Response

Thames Valley Police confirmed they are investigating the fatal collision, which happened at around 3.20am on 29 November. The crash took place on the northbound carriageway of the A34, between Peartree and Islip junctions.

Road Closures and Investigations Underway

Officers attended immediately but could not save the man. Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.

One lane of the northbound A34 remains closed between Hinksey and Peartree while repairs to the road surface are carried out.
