Man Hospitalised After Brutal Nightclub Assault in Nottingham
Victim Attacked Outside Pryzm
Police rushed to Pryzm nightclub on Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham, after a man was surrounded and punched by a gang in the early hours of Sunday, 9 January 2022. The victim sustained a serious head injury and was taken to hospital where he is now recovering.
Suspects Flee Scene; Police On Hunt
Officers arrived quickly but the culprits had already vanished. Since the attack at approximately 1:25am, Nottinghamshire Police have scoured CCTV footage and are still investigating. They have now released images of five men they want to question in connection with the assault.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Constable Sean Davison said, “It is extremely fortunate the victim is recovering from what could have been a devastating attack. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable. The man was just enjoying a night out—no one expects their evening to end like this.”
He added, “We urge anyone who recognises these men or witnessed the incident to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 55 of 9 January 2022.”
