Man Jailed for Savage Murder in Chadwell Heath Horror
A 36-year-old man from Dagenham has been found guilty of a brutal murder after a chilling attack in Chadwell Heath. Duane Owusu was convicted of killing 27-year-old Zahwa Mukhtar by throwing her from a moving car before viciously attacking her.
Met Police Nab Convicted Killer
The Met Police spearheaded the investigation that finally caught Owusu. The shocking assault happened on Saturday, 16 August 2025. After a tense trial, a jury at London’s Old Bailey handed down the guilty verdict on Thursday, 5 March.
Harsh Sentence Looms for Murderer
Owusu is set to be sentenced on Thursday, 12 March. Given the savage and callous nature of the killing, the court is expected to hand down a tough punishment.
