Drug Dealer Busted in Nuneaton Gets Jail Time

Martin McGuire, 33, was slapped with a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence at Birmingham Crown Court last week. He was caught with crack cocaine and heroin, ready to supply.

Undercover Detectives Make the Arrest

McGuire was nabbed in Princes Street, Nuneaton, back in June 2020 when plain-clothed detectives from Nuneaton Proactive CID spotted a suspected drug deal. They searched him and found the stash.

Police Hit Back on Drugs Ravaging Communities

“The supply of drugs is a crime that has a huge impact on the most vulnerable members of our community. It is an appalling crime from which McGuire has profited,” said Detective Constable Sian Cook from Nuneaton Proactive CID.

“We welcome the sentence handed down by the court and encourage anyone with information about drug dealing in their community to contact Warwickshire Police.”
