Man in His 20s Brutally Attacked by Gang in Early Morning Assault
A man in his twenties was viciously punched and kicked by a gang of around seven men while out with friends. The victim was left with serious head injuries and had to be treated in hospital.
Attack in Broad Daylight on St George’s Street
The violent assault happened at about 5am on Sunday 10 December 2023 near the junction of St George’s Street and Whitefriars Street. Despite the brutal attack, the victim managed to flee the scene and report the crime to police.
Suspect Arrested as Police Hunt For More Witnesses
On Wednesday 17 January 2024, a 29-year-old man from Sittingbourne was arrested on suspicion of assault. He’s now on bail while investigations continue.
Police have released CCTV images of two other men linked to the attack. Officers want to speak to them as they could hold key information.
