A British holidaymaker has tragically died at the famed Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio, emergency services confirmed.
The 33-year-old woman was found unresponsive in her room on the evening of April 30. Paramedics and local police rushed to the scene around 6.30pm. Despite 40 minutes of life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Launch Full Investigation
The Civil Guard is compiling a full report for the local court, which has opened an official probe. Early signs suggest no foul play in the woman’s death.
Sources close to the case revealed the victim had a pre-existing heart condition and was fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) — a device under the collarbone that regulates abnormal heart rhythms.
Second Tragedy Rocks Ibiza Rocks Hotel
This grim news comes just days after another tragedy at the same hotel. On Sunday, a 19-year-old Italian tourist of Turkish descent died after falling from the fourth floor. She reportedly tried to access her room via a balcony after losing her key card.
Police continue to investigate that incident.
