Knife Threat at Orpington Church
Benjamin Forrest, 28, from Meadway, Halstead, admitted brandishing a knife at a man inside Green Street Baptist Church, Orpington, on September 23, 2024.
He was handed a six-month prison sentence — but it’s suspended for one year, giving him a chance to stay out of jail.
Repeat Shoplifter Sent Down
Ryan Brook, 35, of Cumbrian Avenue, Bexleyheath, pleaded guilty to stealing from the Co-op on June 2.
Because of his long history of similar offences, he was jailed for eight weeks.
Teen Caught Carrying Sword on Bus
A 16-year-old boy admitted carrying a black sword on the No. 2 bus travelling from Marylebone to Norwood.
The youngster was given a Youth Rehabilitation Order, including intensive supervision and surveillance, aiming to keep him on the straight and narrow.
Forest Hill Man Nabbed with Zombie Knife and Stun Gun
Joshua McCook, 26, from Parry Street, Forest Hill, was caught with a terrifying zombie knife and a stun gun in his home, along with cannabis and cocaine.
The court slapped him with a two-year community order, plus 150 hours of unpaid work.
Lewisham Drink Driver Gets Suspended Jail
Steven Stewart, 47, of Sigdon Road, Dalston, pleaded guilty to drink-driving on Orchid Close, Lewisham, on March 2.
- Received an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for one year
- Ordered to stay off alcohol for 120 days with monitoring
- Banned from driving for 29 months
Bromley Shoplifter Locked Up
Alexander Dakin-Wilson, 28, from Langdon Road, Bromley, admitted stealing from 1 Rack (twice) and Boots in May.
He was sentenced to 26 weeks behind bars.
