Man Charged with Murder in Neasden Knife Attack

Amine Laouar, 20, from Oxford Place, NW10, has been charged with the brutal murder of 48-year-old Leon Street. The stabbing happened on Neasden Lane North on Monday, 11 January.

Multiple Charges Following Spate of Stabbings

Laouar faces additional charges, including the attempted murder of a 32-year-old man on Neasden Lane North just six days later, on Sunday, 17 January. He is also charged with grievous bodily harm with intent against a 47-year-old man on the same road on 11 January.

Next Court Date Set

Laouar is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 22 January. The murder probe kicked off after Leon Street was found with fatal stab wounds shortly after 9:30pm on 11 January.
