The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate swooped on Thursday, 24 August, arresting a 20-year-old man on suspicion of murder. Claire’s body was discovered on Friday, 25 August, in a remote spot between St Nicholas At Wade and Minnis Bay.
Multiple Charges for Harrison Lawrence-van Pooss
On Monday, 18 September, Harrison Lawrence-van Pooss from Margate was charged not only with Claire’s murder but also with voyeurism. The voyeurism charge stems from a shocking separate incident where ‘upskirt’ photos of a woman were secretly taken in Birchington on Tuesday, 22 August.
