Pedestrian Targeted by Car in Shocking Kent Disturbance
Kent Police rushed to Wayfield Road at 9.45pm on Friday, 7 January 2022 after reports of a chaotic clash involving a large crowd. Eyewitnesses said a car was driven at a pedestrian during the melee.
Victim Stable After Hospital Book-In
Emergency crews from Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service arrived quickly. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and remains in a stable condition.
Three Men Arrested Over Violent Scene
Police arrested three men aged 37, 38, and 42 from Chatham nearby, suspected of affray. They were later released on bail pending further inquiries, with a return date set for Tuesday 11 January 2022.
A search of the area uncovered two bladed weapons and a hammer.
