Four Jailed After Massive Cannabis Farm Bust in Clipstone
Police swooped on a Clipstone home after spotting men carrying what looked like cannabis to a van. Inside a Ford Transit, officers found a heat lamp and fertiliser — signs of a cannabis-growing operation.
Sting Uncovers More Than 200 Cannabis Plants
A strong smell of cannabis led cops straight to a house on The Circle. Inside, they caught Illir Hysa, Kleant Kurani, Odysseas Zatsais, and Arben Capja with over 200 cannabis plants. The property had been turned into a sophisticated, well-established drug factory.
The illegal grow was dismantled by Nottinghamshire Police on 30 March 2021. All four had already admitted guilt for cultivating cannabis.

Police Warn of Link Between Cannabis Farms and Serious Crime
“This was a significant cannabis grow that would have been sold on to fund illegal activities,” said Inspector Dean Greaves, Nottinghamshire Police.
“Cannabis growing and supply often tie into serious organised crime. We take reports seriously and investigate thoroughly.”
“Hysa, Capja, Zatsais, and Kurani will now face the consequences. This sends a strong message to those breaking the law.”
Inspector Greaves urged locals to report suspicious activity: “Local communities are our eyes and ears. Please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or dial 999 in emergencies.”
