Shock in Rowley Regis as 10-year-old girl found dead
Murder probe launched
Sandwell police have opened a murder investigation after the grim discovery of a ten-year-old girl’s lifeless body in Rowley Regis earlier today (March 4).
The tragedy unfolded around 12:10 pm when officers were called to Robin Close following reports of a child with serious injuries. Despite frantic efforts by emergency services, the young girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Woman arrested, investigation underway
A 33-year-old woman, believed to know the victim, has been arrested and taken into custody for questioning as detectives dive deeper into the horrific case.
A cordon remains in place around the area while police work to gather evidence and maintain the scene’s integrity.

“A young girl has tragically lost her life, and our thoughts are with her loved ones and all those impacted by this terrible passing,” said Detective Inspector Dan Jarratt.
He added that officers will maintain a strong police presence and continue supporting the community in the wake of this heartbreaking event.
