A 24-year-old man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself and hurling threats — including at a young child — in Maidstone.

Officers were called to Fernhill Road on Friday 2 July 2021 following reports of a man flashing and using threatening language towards people nearby. Among those targeted was a young child.
Benjamin Smart in Custody
Benjamin Smart, from Fernhill Road, was arrested at the scene. He faces charges of exposure, using threatening words and behaviour, and racially aggravated harassment.
Smart was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Medway Magistrates Court on Monday 5 July 2021.
