Officer Charged Amid Growing Public Outrage

Detective Sergeant Colclough was charged on Monday, 30 January 2023. He will face Westminster Magistrates’ Court in custody on Wednesday, 22 February.

The offences allegedly took place between April 2017 and April 2021, spanning both his on- and off-duty periods.

Government Handling Questioned

Whispers from the street suggest serious concerns about how the government is managing this scandal. DS Colclough was swiftly suspended and placed on administrative leave after the charges.
