Man, 64, Stabbed to Death in Thornhill Home
Mark Noke, 64, was fatally stabbed in the chest during the early hours of Saturday, 25 February, at his Warburton Road home in Thornhill.
Multiple Arrests Made but No Charges Yet
- A 29-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has now been released on bail while enquiries continue.
- A 25-year-old Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of murder but has been released without charge.
- A 27-year-old woman from Gosport, arrested on Friday 17 February for assisting an offender, is also on police bail.
- Six men aged between 20 and 31 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and subsequently bailed.
- A 39-year-old man previously arrested for assisting an offender is also released on bail.
Police Hunt Leighton Tabone
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Howard Broadribb said: “We are following all leads in our investigation into Mark’s death. We have seized a vehicle believed to be linked to the crime and continue to act on new information.”
Broadribb added: “We are urgently appealing for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Leighton Tabone to come forward. Anyone harbouring him could face arrest.”
He urged: “No tip is too small. If you have information, it could be vital in delivering justice for Mark.”
