Plain clothes officers on patrol in Sheerness on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, spotted a man sitting in a car they suspected was linked to class A drug supply.
Suspect Arrested Outside Queenborough Address
The vehicle was stopped outside a home in Queenborough. When a man exited the passenger seat, police arrested him on the spot.
Drugs, Cash, and Phone Gear Seized
- Dismantled mobile phone and £495 cash taken from the car
- Bag of cocaine and cannabis recovered at police station
- Phone SIM card also seized
Freddie Stevens Faces Multiple Drug Charges
Freddie Stevens, 23, from Brook Road, Swanley, was charged by Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team. Charges include involvement in the supply of cocaine and heroin, possession of cocaine and cannabis, plus holding criminal property—namely the cash found.
Stevens appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court and was remanded ahead of a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on February 16.
