Gunman on Loose After Woman Shot Dead in Kent Pub Car Park
Kent Police are hunting a gunman after a woman was fatally shot in a quiet village pub car park on Valentine’s Night. Jealousy is being eyed as a possible motive in this tragic crime.
Brutal Attack Caught Witnesses Off Guard
Witnesses say the shooter opened fire from inside a car, firing two shots before emerging to fire a third while the victim lay bleeding on the ground. Despite desperate efforts by onlookers – including a quick-thinking pub customer who grabbed a defibrillator and performed CPR – the woman could not be saved.
Suspect Still at Large After Foot Chase
The gunman, believed to be the victim’s former partner and a father of two, fled on foot. Armed cops swiftly locked down the village, conducting house-to-house searches. The National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter joined the manhunt from above.
Kent Police are expected to release more details shortly. Anyone with information is urged to come forward immediately to aid the investigation.
