Police Hunt Drivers After Chase Ends in Fun Fair Crash
Greater Manchester Police are on the case after a high-speed chase ended in a serious collision at a fun fair in Hindley on Saturday night.
Silver Ford Focus Fails to Stop, Crashes into Fairground
At around 8.25pm on 7 October, officers spotted a silver Ford Focus on Wigan Road, Hindley. The driver ignored police signals and led them on a short pursuit, veering along Cross Street and Morris Street before slamming into the fun fair.
The impact seriously injured a bystander. Thankfully, doctors say the injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Suspects Flee Scene but Two Arrested
The occupants of the car fled immediately after the crash, abandoning the injured victim.
Following investigations, police arrested a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving. Both have been released on bail while inquiries continue.

Police want anyone who saw the crash or has footage from CCTV, mobile phones, or dashcams to come forward.
