Shock as a black car hit a 10-year-old boy on Risbygate Street at around 2.20pm on Saturday, December 30. The youngster was crossing safely at the pelican lights near Chalk Road North when disaster struck.

Driver Flees Scene After Shouting at Child

Eyewitnesses say the driver – a white woman with long black hair – not only failed to stop but shouted at the boy before speeding off, leaving him injured on the road.

Urgent Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

The schoolboy suffered a leg injury and was rushed to hospital, where medics continue to monitor his condition. Police are now desperate for anyone who saw the crash or caught it on dashcam to come forward.
