Woman Falls Ill on Brighton Night Out
Five suspects have been arrested after a 19-year-old woman fell seriously unwell during a night out in Brighton city centre. The incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday, October 2, in West Street, a popular spot for nightlife.
Quick Police Response Cracks Case
Nightclub staff came to the woman’s aid, alerting police officers who were patrolling the area. Officers swiftly launched an investigation and teamed up with the venue to collect crucial evidence.
The victim was rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.
Five Men Held on Suspicion of Poisoning
- Three men from Hampshire (aged 35, 35, and 27) and a 26-year-old from Worthing were arrested on suspicion of administering poison with intent to injure or annoy.
- After further inquiries, a fifth man, 37, from Hampshire was also detained on the same suspicion.
All were either released on conditional bail or remain under investigation as police continue to probe the incident.
