Isle of Wight ‘Wad Father’s’ Daughter Caught Stealing Whisky from Morrisons
Leeanne Tiller, daughter of the notorious Isle of Wight “Wad Father” Peter Rolfe, has narrowly escaped jail after stealing £76 worth of whisky from Morrisons in Newport.
Daughter of ‘Wad Father’ Faces Court Over Theft
Leeanne, who shares a complicated past with her infamous father Peter Rolfe—known for having 26 children by 15 women and living on £50,000 a year in benefits—appeared in court this week alongside her ex-partner Jason Blake. The couple, both from Chale, admitted to jointly stealing the booze from the supermarket.
Hard Times and Family Drama
The court heard Leeanne has been through tough times recently. After splitting from the father of her twins, she lost custody and was even evicted from a posh rent-free Isle of Wight council home. On the day of the crime, both Leeanne and Jason had been drinking. Their theft was described as a “joint enterprise” by magistrates.
Sentenced to Conditional Discharge
The pair were handed a 12-month conditional discharge. They must pay back the £76 for the stolen whisky, £85 each in court costs, plus a £20 surcharge. No jail time was given.
