Two Men Left Fighting for Their Lives After Southend Attack
Police are hunting for answers after two men were brutally attacked in Southend last night. Both victims remain in a life-threatening condition in hospital following the shocking assault.
Violence Erupts Near Odeon Cinema
Officers were scrambled to London Road at around 11.30pm after members of the public flagged them down near the Odeon Cinema, reporting an injured man. A second seriously injured man was then found close to College Way as police scoured the area.
Three Arrested Amid Growing Investigation
- A 28-year-old man was arrested for assault causing grievous bodily harm and drug possession.
- A 24-year-old woman faces suspicion of knife possession, firearms offences, and multiple assaults including grievous bodily harm.
- A 22-year-old man was also detained over criminal damage, intent to steal drugs, robbery, and grievous bodily harm charges.
All three remain in custody while officers carry out their inquiries.
