Man, 18, Stabbed Near St Norbert Park in Late-Night Attack

Stabbing Shakes SE4 Neighbourhood

At around 9.25pm on Monday night (June 13), police and London Ambulance crews rushed to St Norbert Park following reports of a stabbing.

Officers found an 18-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was quickly taken to a south London hospital where medics confirmed his injuries are non-life threatening.

Investigation Underway, No Arrests Yet

The victim’s family has been informed. Meanwhile, police say the investigation into what led to the attack is ongoing, but no suspects have been arrested so far.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson urged anyone who knows anything to come forward urgently: “Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC with reference CAD 7451/13June.

Section 60 Order Imposed in SE4

In response to the incident, police issued a Section 60 order covering the SE4 area from 10.30pm on June 13 until 1.30pm on June 14. This grants officers the power to stop and search anyone in the zone as they hunt for clues.

The stabbing has sent shockwaves through the local community, with police ramping up patrols as they work to get to the bottom of the attack.
