Teens Rob Little Girl in Broad Daylight at Rainbow Park
A young girl was targeted and robbed by a gang of teens while playing near Fort Street’s Rainbow Park late Monday afternoon.
Group of Teens Intimidate and Steal Phone
The girl’s father revealed on social media that his daughter was approached by a small group of 13 to 16-year-olds around 5:15pm. The teens intimidated her before snatching her mobile phone.
Phone Found Smashed, Thrown Away
By the time the father arrived at the park, the youths had vanished. A local dog walker later discovered the stolen phone, smashed to bits and discarded nearby.
Police Informed After Shocking Incident
Authorities have now been notified as the community reels from this daylight robbery in a family-friendly area.
