Murder Probe Launched After Woman Dies in Wembley

Woman Falls from Height in Early Hours

Tragedy struck in Wembley just after 2.20 a.m. on Friday, July 29. Emergency services rushed to London Road after reports that a woman had fallen from a height.

Paramedics and Air Ambulance Rush to Scene

Police, the London Ambulance Service, and the London Air Ambulance all attended. Despite their desperate efforts, the 39-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family have been informed.

Murder Investigation Underway

Detectives from Specialist Crime class the death as suspicious. A post-mortem will be carried out at Northwick Park Hospital mortuary on July 29 to determine the cause of death.

Man Arrested and Held

A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody at a north London station.
