Teen Targeted in Brazen Knife Attempted Abduction on Pier Street
A terrifying scene unfolded on Sunday, April 7, between 2pm and 3pm on Pier Street. A 19-year-old man was about to get into the back seat of a Hyundai i10 when two masked attackers struck. One was armed with a knife.

Police Hunt Ski Masked Suspects – Witnesses Urged to Step Forward
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police want anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward. The suspects are described as:
- Suspect 1: White male, about 5ft 10in, skinny, wearing a black ski mask, shiny black puffer jacket, and black tracksuit bottoms.
- Suspect 2: Black male, about 5ft 10in, wearing a black ski mask, shiny black puffer jacket, and black tracksuit bottoms.
They were joined by a third person – a shorter, unmasked white male, possibly a child, who did not take part in the attack.
