Concern Grows for Missing Teen in Dorset
Carlie Avery-Carter, 16, vanished without a trace after being spotted at 9.30am on Saturday 5 March 2022 in Merley. She was expected home later that day but never arrived.
What Carlie Was Wearing
- Black Adidas coat
- Green sports leggings
- Green vest top
- Black cropped T-shirt
- White trainers with pink heel and tip
Carlie is white, 5ft 2in, slim, with long, curled dark brown hair.
Police Plea for Information
“We are becoming concerned for the welfare of Carlie and would urge anyone with information as to her whereabouts to please get in touch,” said Chief Inspector Matt Baxter of Dorset Police. “I am appealing to anyone who has seen Carlie, or a girl matching the description given, to please urgently contact Dorset Police. “Finally, if you see this appeal Carlie, please make contact with us or your family as we all just want to ensure that you are safe and well.”
