A shocking discovery has rocked a peaceful neighbourhood on Axminster Crescent. Just after 8am on Saturday, February 7, a male cat was found outside a home, suffering appalling injuries that have stunned local residents and animal lovers alike.
Brutal Injuries Spark Fears of Deliberate Attack
The RSPCA revealed the cat endured horrendous trauma. His jaw was broken, his face badly damaged, his tail completely removed, and his organs pulled through the wound. Even more gruesome, his rear claws were damaged, and both eyes were gouged out.
“This was a very upsetting discovery for the residents and extremely distressing for everyone involved – this poor cat was completely mutilated,” said RSPCA inspector Clive Hopwood.

“We’re keeping an open mind about how the cat sustained these injuries. While some could have come from a road traffic collision, the location and nature of the body raise serious concerns.”
