Drunk Mum Crashes Car with Child Onboard – Cops Step In
Tuesday night at around 8pm, officers from the Road Policing Unit and a police dog team found a woman drunk behind the wheel — and she had her child with her.
Crash, Breath Test, and Arrest
Earlier, the woman had crashed her car but didn’t stay put. She drove off with her child still inside. Police caught up and gave her a roadside breath test. She blew well over the legal limit and was arrested for drink-driving.
Police said: “Thankfully no one was injured.”
