Tragic Crash Claims Life of Basingstoke Woman on A30

The family of Linda Warwick, 61, have spoken out after she was killed in a smash on the A30 at Hartley Wintney.

Fatal Collision on Busy A30

The fatal crash happened around 2.15pm on Sunday, 24 February, near the Grange Lane junction. Linda was driving a red Suzuki Alto when she collided with a black Audi A4. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family Pay Heartfelt Tribute

Linda’s loved ones described her as a “much beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.”

“The sun has left our solar system. We are bereft.”

They praised her for her kindness and dedication, saying her “competence and humanity was appreciated and liked by her many friends, colleagues, and all who had dealings with her.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or the black Audi A4 driving between Blackwater and Hartley Wintney before the crash.
