Blaze Breaks Out at Barking Business Park
Forty firefighters and officers rushed to Lyons Business Park on River Road, Barking, early Wednesday morning to tackle a fierce fire. The alarm was raised just after 2.30am, prompting a major emergency response.
Reinforced Doors Hamper Fire Crews
Six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were scrambled to the scene. Crews battled flames in two business units, struggling against reinforced security doors. Two hose reels, four breathing apparatus sets, and a thermal imaging camera are in use to combat the blaze.
Police Step In with Helicopter Support
Met Police officers have sealed off the business centre’s entrance and are investigating the cause. A police helicopter has been brought in to assist fire crews from above as the situation unfolds.
