Four Men Released After Deadly Stabbing at Strawberry Hill Station
Four males have been released following the stabbing death of a man at Strawberry Hill railway station on Monday night. Police rushed to the scene at 11.53pm after reports of an injured man, teaming up with the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service.
Young Man Stabbed to Death
Officers found a man in his 20s with a serious stab wound. Despite frantic efforts by emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspects Released as Investigation Continues
- 19-year-old man: released under investigation
- 20-year-old man: released under investigation
- 15-year-old boy: released under investigation
- 16-year-old boy: released on police bail
Police have increased high-visibility patrols near the station and are working closely with the Metropolitan Police to assure local residents.
Police Beg for Information
“This violence is utterly senseless,” said Detective Chief Inspector Sam Blackburn. “We are in early stages of the investigation. Strawberry Hill station will remain closed while we pursue all leads.”
