Warminster Police Raid Home Over Strong Cannabis Smell
Warminster cops acted fast after neighbours reported a strong whiff of cannabis near Chetterne. In the early hours of December 9, the local Neighbourhood Policing Team swooped on a property with a Misuse of Drugs warrant.
Heavy Support from Firearms and Dogs
The raid wasn’t a solo mission. Officers were backed by the Firearms unit, the Dog Unit, and Fortitude team members to ensure the operation went smoothly and safely.
Cannabis Plants and Hydroponic Gear Seized
Inside the property, police found several cannabis plants being cultivated along with hydroponic equipment. All the gear will be destroyed, dealing a blow to illegal growers in the area.
Man Arrested but Later Released
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing a Class B drug. He has been interviewed and released while investigations continue. More updates expected as police dig deeper.
